On July 29, 2007 Sensei Alex Alarcon, Sensei Richard Herbster and Sensei Dale Mahabir successfully completed the required rigorous examination to earn their third degree black belts and the title Sensei. The Board of Examiners consisted of Grandmaster George Harris, 9th dan, Master Art Beins, 9th dan, Sensei Alick Smith, 8th dan, Hanshi H. Robert Haag, 8th dan, Master Jesse Goldstein, 7th dan, Kyoshi Rick Herbster, 7th dan and Master George Downey, 4th dan. This distinguished Board of Examiners promoted all three of the examinees unanimously.
