On December 13, 2009 Sempai Anthony Florio, Mr. Zachary Thomas and Miss Michelle Wang successfully completed the required rigorous examination to earn their black belt promotions with the title Sempai being earned by Anthony Florio. The Board of Examiners consisted of Grandmaster George Harris, 9th dan, Shihan J.H. Kim, 9th dan, Hanshi H. Robert Haag, 8th dan, Hanshi Rick Herbster, 8th dan, Master Jesse Goldstein, 7th dan, Renshi Darren Ross, 5th dan, Renshi George Downey, 5th dan, Sensei Richard Herbster, 3rd dan, Sensei Alex Alarcon, 3rd dan and Sensei Dale Mahabir, 3rd dan.
